What I learnt when I used Cyberpanel VPS on my Digitalocean Droplet

When I was testing with migrating my shared hosting wordpress account into VPS, And VPS is quite hard to manage for a normal business owner so I am tempted to use a Panel to help with management of the VPS server. I tried Cyberpanel for three things:

1, easier Server management;
2, Hopefully easy to migrate;
3, makes full use of the openlitespeed server. However, After a few tries, I gave up.

Cyberpanel does requires a lot of resources that may not be suitable for the basic VPS and it does consume more bandwidth too. The convenience of panel may not make up for the resources needed to run it. So if you can pay for more resources then you could use a panel. Furthermore openlitespeed and Let’s Encrypt SSL autoupdate program seems to not get alone well so you need to configure the sever to make it work proper with your old shared hosting site server configuration.

In the end, I used the same configuration as the shared hosting (Digitalocean wordpress one click installation) to migrate my wordpress site smoothly to new VPS with SSL now auto update.
